Booking Policy
This policy explains how reservations are made, confirmed, modified, and managed when you book tours and travel services through nipponx.jp.

Thank you for choosing Nippon X. By making a reservation, you agree to this Booking Policy together with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. About Our Services
Nippon X is a Japan-based travel company offering: guided day tours; private tours; customized travel itineraries; multi-day travel packages; transportation arrangements (where specified); travel planning services; and tourism-related experiences. Each tour page includes details regarding itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, meeting points, duration, and pricing.
3. Booking Eligibility
To make a booking, you must be at least 18 years old, or have authorization from a parent or legal guardian. You agree that all information provided during booking is complete, accurate, and current. Providing false or misleading information may result in cancellation of your booking.
4. Booking Process
Step 1 — Select your tour
Choose the desired tour or request a custom itinerary through our website or customer support.
Step 2 — Provide booking information
You may be asked to provide full name, email address, phone number, number of travelers, preferred travel date, special requests, and emergency contact (if required); for certain services additional information such as passport details may be requested where necessary.
Step 3 — Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated, and payments are processed securely through our payment partners.
Step 4 — Booking confirmation
Your reservation becomes confirmed only after successful payment, availability confirmation, and receipt of a booking confirmation email from Nippon X; if payment is unsuccessful or availability changes before confirmation, your booking may not be completed.
5. Booking Confirmation
Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email containing: booking reference number; tour name; travel date; meeting point; departure time; number of participants; payment confirmation; and important tour information. Please review the confirmation carefully and notify us promptly if any information is incorrect.
6. Pricing
Unless otherwise stated: all prices are displayed in Japanese Yen (JPY); prices include only the services specifically listed in the tour description; personal expenses, optional activities, travel insurance, meals not listed, and transportation not included remain the responsibility of the customer. Nippon X reserves the right to correct pricing errors before confirming a booking.
7. Payment
Full payment is required before a booking is confirmed. Accepted payment methods are displayed during checkout. Payment information is processed securely through trusted third-party payment providers. Nippon X does not store complete credit or debit card details.
8. Custom Itineraries
Customers requesting customized itineraries may receive a personalized travel proposal. Custom itineraries may require additional planning time, supplier confirmations, advance reservations, and special payment conditions. Any unique booking or cancellation terms applicable to custom itineraries will be communicated before payment.
9. Booking Changes
Customers wishing to modify an existing reservation should contact us as early as possible. Changes are subject to availability, supplier policies, and operational feasibility. Additional charges may apply where the revised booking differs from the original reservation or where third-party suppliers impose amendment fees.
10. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for: providing accurate personal information; arriving at the designated meeting point on time; complying with local laws and regulations; following instructions provided by tour guides; carrying valid identification or travel documents where required; and ensuring they are medically fit to participate in booked activities.
11. Meeting Points and Departure
Meeting locations and departure times are included in your booking confirmation. Customers are responsible for arriving on time. Tours generally depart as scheduled and cannot be delayed for late arrivals. Customers who fail to arrive on time may be treated as a No-Show in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
12. Special Requests
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests relating to dietary requirements, accessibility, mobility assistance, language preferences, seating arrangements, and special occasions. However, special requests cannot always be guaranteed and do not form part of the booking contract unless confirmed by us in writing.
13. Minimum Participant Requirements
Certain tours may require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum number is not reached, Nippon X may reschedule the tour, offer an alternative tour, or provide a full refund. Customers will be notified as soon as reasonably possible if this occurs.
14. Tour Changes
Occasionally, it may be necessary to modify an itinerary due to weather conditions, traffic, local events, safety considerations, operational requirements, or supplier availability. Where practical, customers will be informed of significant changes in advance. Minor itinerary adjustments do not constitute a cancellation.
15. Customer Conduct
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants, customers are expected to behave respectfully toward tour guides, staff, local communities, fellow travelers, and partner businesses. Nippon X reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any participant whose behavior is abusive, dangerous, illegal, or disruptive. In such cases, no refund will be provided unless required by law.
16. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal accidents, lost luggage, and travel delays. Travel insurance is not included unless explicitly stated.
17. Force Majeure
Nippon X shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, earthquakes, pandemics, strikes, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, and civil unrest. Where possible, we will work with customers to provide suitable alternatives or refunds in accordance with our policies.
18. Policy Updates
Nippon X may update this Booking Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal obligations, or business operations. The latest version will always be available on our website with the updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or booking services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Booking Policy.
