    What is Nippon X?

    Nippon X is a Japan-based travel company offering guided day tours, private tours, multi-day travel packages, and fully customized travel itineraries for visitors exploring Japan.

    Do you operate throughout Japan?

    Yes. Depending on the tour or custom itinerary, we offer travel experiences across various regions of Japan. Available destinations are listed on each tour page.

    Booking

    How do I book a tour?

    You can book directly through our website by selecting your preferred tour, choosing your travel date, completing the booking form, and making a secure online payment. After payment is received and availability is confirmed, you will receive a booking confirmation email.

    When is my booking confirmed?

    Your booking is confirmed only after payment has been successfully received, availability has been confirmed, and you receive a confirmation email from Nippon X.

    Can I book a private tour?

    Yes. We offer private tours for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

    Do you offer custom itineraries?

    Yes. We specialize in creating fully customized travel itineraries based on your interests, travel dates, budget, and preferred destinations. Simply contact us with your travel plans, and we'll prepare a personalized proposal.

    Payment

    What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept secure online payments using the payment methods available during checkout, including major credit and debit cards and other supported digital payment methods.

    What currency do you charge?

    Unless otherwise stated, all prices are displayed in Japanese Yen (JPY). If your card uses another currency, your bank or card issuer will handle the currency conversion.

    Is online payment secure?

    Yes. Payments are processed through secure payment providers using industry-standard encryption. Nippon X does not store your complete credit card information.

    Cancellation & Refunds

    What is your cancellation policy?

    For most standard tours: cancel 24 hours or more before departure for a 100% refund; cancel less than 24 hours before departure and the booking is non-refundable. Some custom itineraries may have different cancellation terms, which will be provided before booking.

    How long do refunds take?

    Approved refunds are generally processed within 5–10 business days. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

    What happens if Nippon X cancels a tour?

    If we cancel a tour due to weather, operational reasons, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances, you may choose a full refund, an alternative tour, or a different travel date (subject to availability).

    Tours

    What is included in a tour?

    Each tour page clearly lists what is included. Typical inclusions may include a professional guide, transportation (where stated), entrance tickets (if included), and scheduled activities. Items not specifically listed are generally not included.

    Are meals included?

    Only if specifically stated in the tour description. Please check each tour page for detailed inclusions.

    Can children join your tours?

    Yes. Children are welcome on many of our tours when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Some activities may have age restrictions for safety reasons.

    Are your tours suitable for seniors?

    Many of our tours are suitable for older travelers. If you have mobility concerns or special requirements, please contact us before booking so we can recommend an appropriate tour.

    Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

    We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requests where possible. Please inform us during booking. Availability depends on restaurants and local suppliers.

    Travel

    Do I need travel insurance?

    We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, travel delays, and personal belongings. Travel insurance is not included unless specifically stated.

    What should I bring?

    Depending on the tour, we recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, identification, water, a camera, and any required medications. Specific recommendations may be included in your booking confirmation.

    What happens if I arrive late?

    Tours generally depart on schedule. If you arrive late and miss the departure, your booking may be treated as a No-Show and may not be eligible for a refund.

    Absolutely. We specialize in designing customized itineraries based on your interests, travel style, budget, and schedule. Whether you're interested in culture, food, shopping, nature, anime, luxury travel, or hidden local experiences, we can help plan your trip.

    How far in advance should I book a custom itinerary?

    We recommend contacting us as early as possible, especially during peak travel seasons such as Cherry Blossom season, Golden Week, summer holidays, autumn foliage season, and New Year holidays. Early planning provides the best availability and flexibility.
